Please see some example projects below: Interactive mathematics teaching and learning tools for Heinemann We have supplied/developed 35 sophisticated interactive mathematics teaching and learning tools for Heinemann (Harcourt Education). These extensive projects delivered a selection of tools contributing to the teaching and learning software for Edexcel GCSE Mathematics, AQA GCSE Mathematics, and for the Scottish Secondary Whiteboard Toolkit for S1 to S4.These include 3D Coordinates, 3D Solids, Straight-line Graphing Tool and a host of others tools covering the full spectrum of the curriculum.
Interactive teaching and learning tools for Edexcel GCSE Mathematics. The design and development of a set of tools supporting the teaching and learning for GCSE Mathematics in the areas of Number, Algebra, and Shape, Space and Measure.
Adult Care e-Learning for Skills for Care QVQ also owns e-Assessment4U(eA4U), a centre approved to offer Edexcel qualifications. We have deployed e-Portfolio methods on assessment projects and also been commissioned by clients to develop interactive materials to support qualification assessment, for example in Adult Care where we were commissioned by the relevant Sector Skills Council (SSC) and SCIE (Social Care Institute for Excellence). Our knowledge and skills in the area of qualifications assessment complements our software development capability in QVQ.
Development of e-Learning mapped to qualifications QVQ has developed media rich materials to support, for example, the BTEC Professional Management Qualifications (new QCA standards) and the BTEC Award in Customer Service. Organisations such as British Telecom, Big Lottery Fund, Coventry City Council, Barclays Bank, Skanska and Mitsui Babcock are using the materials as part of a qualifications programme. School Support - GCSE Mathematics and GCSE Statistics A tool to provide teachers with an effective method to teach statistics with particular focus on the course work aspect of the GCSE. This programme supports GCSE Mathematics and GCSE Statistics and is being used in hundreds of schools nationwide. View Case Study and / or Try Our Work.
Development of College Support Materials We have developed quizzes for College lecturers to provide a pre and post assessment of learners knowledge in business focused at Levels 2 -3. These programmes are used as part of Edexcel OnCourse to support lecturers with learning materials against their qualifications. Development of Business Scenario Project - Entrepreneurial Programme A media rich and highly entertaining way to discover how entrepreneurial you are. Developed for Levels 1 through to 4, learners get to manage a business for a period of time and find out whether they can deliver a profit. Try Our Work.
